Richie is an educator, designer, writer, and aspiring researcher and academic. He is an incoming PhD Student and Research Scholar at the National University of Singapore, Department of Architecture. His research interests lie at the intersections of design, psychology, and urban experience, with a focus on how people relate to and find wellbeing in dense, fast-changing cities.

His recent teaching experience includes the Singapore Institute of Technology, where he teaches interdisciplinary design innovation with a focus on critical, design, and futures thinking, and the American University of Yangon, where he taught design, communication, and social sciences.

Richie co-runs a multidisciplinary creative practice in traditional and applied design work based in Singapore and Yangon. His background spans design practice, teaching, media and publishing, which continues to inform his future work. Prior to establishing his own practice, he previously held roles including  Creative Director at Myanmore Media Group, and Managing Editor and Art Director at Knowledge Media Group.
