Li Qi (Richie) CHAN
PhD Scholar, Department of Architecture
National University of Singapore (NUS)
My research focuses on how atmospheres of urban public spaces shape experiences of positive solitude—contributing to personal and city wellbeing. I also teach, write, and design across various creative disciplines.
Before returning to academia, I spent over a decade working across architectural and design practice, media, and publishing in Singapore and Southeast Asia—including roles as a design consultant, creative director, and editor.
